Step 1: Length at bed height, back seats down

Must be at least 180cm

With the back seats folded down and the boot closed, at the height of your preferred car bed (21cm or 34cm), measure from the inside of the boot door all the way forwards. If you don’t have enough length try sliding/folding the front seats forwards.

Step 2: Length of boot floor, back seats down

Must be at least 140cm

With the back seats folded down and the boot closed, measure the length of the boot floor from the boot door to the end of the back seats.

Step 3: Min boot width

Must be at least 93cm

Measure the width of the narrowest part of your boot, usually this will be between the wheel arches.

Step 4: Length of boot at bed height

Must be at least 83cm

With the back seats up and the boot closed, at the height of your preferred car bed (21cm or 34cm), measure from the inside of the boot horrizontally to the back of the back seats.

Not a big problem if your boot is too short for this measurements, this only means it won’t fit in your car boot with the back seats up.

Step 5: Boot width at bed height

Must be at least 99cm

For Camper Car Bed™ 21:

Measure the width of your boot at 18cm height.

For Camper Car Bed™ 34:

Measure the width of your boot at 32cm height.

Step 6: Width of back seats

Must be at least 99cm

With the back seats folded down and the boot closed, take a measurement of the width of the folded back seats at a distance of 138cm from the inside of the boot door.

Step 7: If your back seats don’t fold flat

Must be less than 16.6cm for Camper Car Bed™ 21 or less than 30cm for Camper Car Bed™ 34

With the back seats folded down, measure the height from the top of the folded back seats to the boot floor.
