Q: What are the dimensions of the car beds when folded away?
A: The length is 83cm and the width in 1m.
Q: how much storage space is there under the beds?
A: For the lower car bed the max under bed storage is 18.5cm.
For the higher car bed the max under bed storage is 32cm.
Q: What is the length to the under-arm carry handle?
A: 50cm to the centre of the handle hole
Q: What is the maximum weight the Camper Car Bed can support?
A: The Camper Car Bed is tested to support 2 people of total max weight 170kg
Q: how heavy is the car bed?
A: Approximately 14kg.
Q: how do i get fresh air to circulate in the car when i’m asleep?
A: You can purchase window shades which you put over your window shade and then you can open your window as much or as little as you wish. This will let the fresh air in but keep any flies and bugs out.
Q: what size camping mattress will fit?
A: the top surface of Camper Car Bed is 1.8x1m. Use any mattress of your choice, even if it’s a bit wider or longer than the bed. Some example mattresses sized similarly to Camper Car Bed are listed below:

Q: can it fold flat into the car boot?
A: yes, the car bed folds away to L 83cm, W 1m and the legs fold away on hinges.
Q: how long does it take to assemble?
A: Camper Car Bed comes flat packed, assembly time is approx 45-60 min, the only tool required is a PZ2 cross head screwdriver. Written instructions and images are provided.
Q: will it fit into a Pajero or Prado?
A: Both the Mitsubishi Pajero and gen 2 Prado’s back seats don’t fold away completely but the taller Camper Car Bed 32 will fit, you will just need to make sure the 2nd row back seats are folded flat, click here to see a photo.
Q: where are your car beds made?
A: The car beds are made in Western Australia in the Perth area.
Q: do i have to disassemble the car bed after use?
A: No, you can simply fold it away flat and store it in your home or garage etc. You can rest the folded camping bed against a wall completely vertically without risk of it tipping over, due to offset centre of mass.
Q: what are the payment options?
A: You can pay by card, google pay or apple pay.
Q: what happens if i change my mind about a purchase?
A: If you change your mind about a purchase from us and would like to return the product for a refund you must inform us by email of your decision by means of a clear statement within 7 days of the date the product was delivered to you.
